“I See You with Your NRM Yellow Bus” — Pallaso Tells Chameleone and Weasel as He Declares Support for NUP

Ugandan musician Pallaso has sent a bold message to his elder brothers Jose Chameleone and Weasel, criticizing their support for the National Resistance Movement (NRM) while reaffirming his commitment to the National Unity Platform (NUP) and the cause for change.

In a passionate post, Pallaso wrote:

“Mr. Jose Chameleone Mayanja, I see you with your National Resistance Movement – NRM yellow bus, but it’s okay. You can even take Weasel, but me I’m here for change and I will support the National Unity Platform paka last.”

The Malamu hitmaker emphasized that although he respects his brothers’ decisions, his focus remains on advocating for change and standing with the people of Uganda. He hinted that while family matters would be handled privately, politically he is fully behind NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine).

Before Pallaso’s open declaration, Jose Chameleone had once been a member of the National Unity Platform but later parted ways with the party after being denied the Lord Mayor ticket in the 2021 General Elections.

Pallaso’s statement has ignited lively discussion among fans and political commentators, with many applauding his bravery for choosing a different path from his musically iconic brothers.

As Uganda heads closer to the 2026 elections, the Mayanja brothers’ political differences continue to reflect the broader intersection between music, family, and politics in the country’s entertainment scene.
