Abryanz and Katrina Nilzero Secure Gloria Njuba’s Release on Bond After Scuffle With Sheilah Gashumba

Social media personality Gloria Njuba was on Saturday, January 11, 2026, released from police custody on bond after spending several nights behind bars following a reported scuffle with her former best friend, Sheilah Gashumba.

Njuba’s release was largely facilitated by celebrated fashionista Abryanz and socialite Katrina Nilzero, both of whom are said to have had a bitter fallout with Sheilah Gashumba in recent months.

Taking to his Snapchat account, Abryanz strongly criticized the circumstances surrounding Gloria Njuba’s arrest, describing it as unfair and selective. He noted that both parties were involved in a heated exchange, yet only one was taken into custody.

“Surely you can’t have others arrested for the very things you do every day. Nobody has a monopoly on justice. The time to manipulate the system is over. There are very good public servants out there who listen. #GlovesOff,” Abryanz wrote.

Abryanz further vowed to pursue the matter until justice is served, revealing that what he termed the “era of internet bullying” would end with the Gloria Njuba case. He emphasized that the situation would serve as proof that justice still exists within the country’s systems.

Following her release, Gloria Njuba is expected to report back to Jinja Road Police Station as investigations into the incident continue.
