Alien Skin Speaks Out on Salaama Road Chaos, Says He Was Unfairly Targeted

Controversial singer Patrick Mulwana, better known as Alien Skin, has broken his silence following the chaotic incident along Salaama Road that went viral earlier this week. The artist was seen in a circulating video speeding off as angry residents pelted stones at his vehicle.

Alien Skin now claims the hostility was triggered by a misunderstanding involving one of his crew members — not him.

According to the Sitya Danger hitmaker, he had taken his car for a routine road test ahead of a planned trip to Arua. But after finding both ends of Salaama Road blocked due to maintenance works, he decided to park and interact with locals as he waited.

He says the atmosphere suddenly shifted when he was informed that a member of his team had allegedly punched a resident, who was later rushed to hospital. The singer insists he was not at the scene when the scuffle broke out — yet he became the target of the residents’ fury.

Tensions quickly escalated.

Alien Skin narrates that gunfire erupted soon after, prompting him and his crew to flee for safety as the mob surged toward his car.

“People call me chaotic, yet those preaching peace are the ones fueling trouble,” he said. “Uganda has painted me as unruly, but I’ve never stopped anyone from passing through my area. Even NUP candidates canvass freely in Kizungu.”

The artist also claims some individuals have threatened him whenever he passes certain villages, with others linking him to the fate of previously deceased controversial musicians. He questioned why people who claim to be peaceful continue spreading alarming updates about his life, adding that “even I don’t know what will happen to me tomorrow.”

This is not the first time Alien Skin has faced hostility from the public. Just weeks earlier, he was chased by residents in Busoga who accused him of being a dangerous figure — accusations he strongly denies.

As investigations into the Salaama Road incident continue, the singer maintains he is being unfairly judged and targeted by those “creating chaos while pretending to want peace.”
