Alien Skin’s close associate and right-hand man Ibra Kabadiya has publicly apologized to Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleone and his global fanbase after previously insulting the Leone Island boss online.
In a heartfelt video making rounds on social media, Kabadiya admitted to using his phone to “hurt” and “disrespect” the iconic singer — something he now deeply regrets.
“I used my phone to hurt you, disrespect you, and insult you, but I’m here asking for forgiveness. I will never do it again, papa,” Kabadiya said.
“I’m sorry for the previous actions I took. I was just excited. Please, you are our father, and we are your younger brothers — let peace prevail.”
The apology comes after weeks of tension between Alien Skin’s Fangone Forest camp and Chameleone’s Leone Island family, sparked by online exchanges and fan debates about respect and hierarchy in the Ugandan music industry.
Kabadiya’s move has been widely praised by fans who are calling for unity and peace in the music fraternity. Some have also urged Alien Skin himself to follow his friend’s lead and extend an olive branch to the veteran singer.
With the apology now public, many hope this gesture will mark a new chapter of respect, maturity, and peace among Uganda’s top entertainers.
