The list for the much coveted NUP party parliamentary flag bearers’ ticket for the 2026 general elections is out, but it hasn't left many leaders, socialites, musicians, and longtime politicians the same. The highly anticipated list of aspiring candidates was released on September 29th to the disappointment of some aspirants.

" true liberation has always been, and will always be, about Uganda our beloved nation with Nansana Municipality standing proudly within it."
" To the people of Nansana, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. Your trust and warm welcome have inspired me. With your support, I envision not only a better Nansana, but a greater Uganda."
Big Eye Star Boss further pledge allegiance to the party and appealed his supporters to rally behind Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa, a former media personality now chosen to hold NUP card for Nansana Municipality parliamentary seat in the 2026 general elections.
