DJ Nimrod Nabeeta, popularly known as DJ Nimrod, faced an embarrassing moment on Friday evening after sections of the crowd pelted him with plastic water bottles during King Saha’s concert at Lugogo Oval.
The celebrated DJ had stepped onto the stage to warm up the massive audience that had gathered for King Saha’s second concert of the year. But instead of the usual cheers, Nimrod was met with open hostility. Several fans began hurling plastic mineral water bottles toward the stage, forcing him to dodge the flying objects.
Visibly frustrated, DJ Nimrod attempted to engage the restless crowd by joking about switching his political allegiance.

“I will change my political allegiance. Should I go and join DP?” he shouted, hoping to calm the audience.
However, the crowd remained unmoved, repeatedly demanding that he leave the stage.
The situation intensified until an event steward quickly intervened. With guidance from the security team—and Nimrod himself pleading with fans to stop—the tension gradually eased.
Once order was restored, the night regained its energy. King Saha returned the spotlight to the music with a powerful performance that carried the concert smoothly to the end, leaving fans satisfied despite the earlier drama.
