Ugandan singer Chosen Becky is now engaged! She said yes to her longtime friend and videographer Qadir during a special ceremony held today, August 5, 2025, at Springs and Petals in Kitende.
Qadir has worked with Chosen Becky for many years, taking her photos and videos. Over time, their friendship turned into love. Reports say their relationship may have caused Becky’s breakup with her ex, Dictator Amir.
The engagement ceremony had a blue and white theme and was attended by a few close friends and workmates. In videos now trending on social media, Chosen Becky is seen smiling and excited as Qadir asked her to marry him.
Becky’s father also took part in the event. He prayed for the couple and blessed them as they began their journey toward marriage.
Fans all over Uganda are now celebrating the good news and sending love to the couple.
