Ugandan dancehall artist Cindy Sanyu has confirmed she will be releasing a new music album in October, sparking excitement among her fans.
The announcement was made during Cindy’s appearance on fellow musician Bruno K’s live TikTok broadcast, where she addressed fans' questions about artists releasing full-length projects.
The singer, widely known by her moniker “The King Herself,” revealed that the album has been in development for some time and is nearing completion.
“I’m working on it, and I think by October, it should be out,” she said. “I created this album because I wanted to include a variety of videos, so you wouldn’t just see it as an audio album, but also as a visual experience. That is what I’m working on currently.”
Although Cindy did not reveal the album’s title or its specific release date, she emphasized that the project will offer fans a visual experience in addition to the music. Several videos accompanying tracks from the album have already been recorded.
This upcoming release will be Cindy Sanyu’s second studio album, following her 2019 debut album "Kisses at Midnight," which featured ten tracks and received widespread acclaim.
Fans of the singer can expect a multi-format release that blends sound and visuals, showcasing Cindy’s evolution as both a performer and creative director.
