Divorce Settlement Between Jose Chameleone and Daniella Postponed Until September 2025

The highly publicized divorce proceedings between Ugandan music icon Jose Chameleone and his wife, Daniella Atim, have been delayed until September 2025 as the couple continues to negotiate key settlement terms.

The two remain at odds over major issues including property division, child custody, and financial support. Daniella is reportedly seeking full ownership of their family home in Seguku, alongside ongoing financial maintenance for their children.

Daniella officially filed for divorce in March 2025, citing years of emotional neglect, abandonment, and lack of spousal support. She has openly spoken about her struggles with depression during the marriage, stating that Chameleone was largely absent over the past five years, leaving her to raise their children alone.

Meanwhile, Jose Chameleone has acknowledged the separation, emphasizing that his priority remains the welfare of their children. He insists that the disputed assets are intended for securing the children’s future rather than for personal gain.

As both parties prepare for further negotiations, the case is expected to resume in September, with many watching closely how the settlement will unfold.
