Since its launch on 13th May 2025, the Green Daddy Foundation has been at the forefront of community development in Nateete, delivering impactful projects that combine education, environmental sustainability, and social support.
The foundation, under the visionary leadership of Green Daddy, has touched the lives of countless residents in Nateete by providing school fees, textbooks, uniforms, stationery, and scholastic materials to students. Beyond education, the foundation has actively promoted environmental conservation through its flagship project, Tree Plus, which was initially launched at Nateete Police Station and has since expanded across other parts of Nateete.
Tree Plus Initiative: Greening Uganda
The Tree Plus project has made significant strides, with the foundation planting 600 trees and donating an additional 1,200 trees to schools and other public spaces across Uganda. This initiative aligns with the foundation’s vision of fostering a greener, healthier, and sustainable environment for future generations.
Partnerships and Scholarships
Green Daddy Foundation has also partnered with the Buganda Kingdom to provide scholarships to 30 students across different educational institutions. These scholarships aim to alleviate financial burdens on students and empower them to pursue quality education.
“Our mission is to give back to the community that has supported us. Education, environmental care, and empowerment are the pillars of our foundation. We believe in creating opportunities for the youth and leaving a lasting impact,” said Green Daddy, founder of the foundation.
Ongoing Impact
From supporting local schools with scholastic supplies to planting trees that beautify and protect the environment, Green Daddy Foundation has become a beacon of hope and a symbol of community-driven development in Nateete. The foundation’s work demonstrates the powerful impact of combining social responsibility with environmental stewardship.
As Green Daddy Foundation continues to expand its reach, the residents of Nateete and other parts of Uganda stand to benefit from its initiatives that promote education, sustainability, and empowerment.
