Grenade Official Confesses: “Women Sponsor My Lifestyle Because They Want to Keep Me”

Ugandan singer Grenade Official has stirred social media after boldly admitting that women often give him money and sponsor his lifestyle just to keep him around.

During a revealing interview on FleXx with Galaxy TV, the controversial artist didn’t shy away from speaking about his relationships and how his appearance plays a major role in his romantic encounters.

“I’m a good-looking man. I take care of myself. I smell good, I dress well — I’m not easy to maintain,” Grenade boasted, adding, “If a woman chooses to date me, she knows she has to do everything to keep me.”

The “Babandana” hitmaker further explained that it’s not uncommon for women in his life to fund his needs, buy him gifts, and provide financial support. He believes it’s a mutual exchange of affection, adding that he gives back in his own way.

Grenade, known for his flashy lifestyle and controversial love life, has previously made headlines for dating older women and high-profile personalities in Uganda.

His recent comments have sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans praising his honesty and self-confidence, while others criticized him for normalizing transactional relationships.

Despite the backlash, Grenade remains unapologetic.

“I don’t force anyone. If she feels I’m worth it, she’ll invest in me,” he concluded.

The singer continues to make waves in both the music industry and the gossip columns — and from the look of things, he’s not slowing down any time soon.
