Grenade Official Reveals He Cancelled His February Concert Due to Witchcraft

Ugandan singer Grenade Official, real name Deus Nduggwa, has revealed shocking details about why he cancelled his much-anticipated concert that was scheduled for 15th February 2025 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

In an interview with Douglas Lwanga and Alfta Tymz on NBS TV, Grenade disclosed that he lost his voice completely just weeks to the event, making it impossible to rehearse or prepare adequately for the show. According to the artist, this was not due to a medical condition or fatigue—but witchcraft.

“I lost my voice completely and I couldn’t sing or rehearse. I wouldn’t have cancelled for any other reason because I had planned well for it. However, two days after cancelling it, I regained my voice. Someone I know bewitched me,” Grenade said.

The singer, known for his energetic performances and hit songs, said he was left with no choice but to cancel the concert to avoid disappointing his fans.

Grenade’s revelation that someone he personally knows bewitched him has sparked intense discussion online. While some fans sympathized with his ordeal, others were skeptical, questioning the possibility of black magic affecting his vocal ability.

The cancellation came as a disappointment to many supporters who had looked forward to the February event. However, Grenade expressed optimism about organizing another concert in the future, under better circumstances.

Despite the challenges, he continues to release new music and perform at various events, assuring fans that he’s back in full voice and ready to reclaim the stage.
