“I’m Not the Mafia I Thought I Was” – Alien Skin Vows to Quit Music Over Disrespect

Ugandan singer Alien Skin, real name Patrick Mulwana, has once again shocked the Ugandan music industry after vowing to quit music, saying he is “tired of the disrespect” in the game.

The Fangone Forest boss, known for street anthems like Sitya Danger and Kapati, revealed in a TikTok video that despite giving his best, he only receives criticism instead of appreciation.

“Honestly let me tell you this, I’ve given my best to this industry. Given the best of music and instead of getting appreciated, I have only reaped disrespect. Imagine even a non-singer disparaging you. It’s hard and in fact I won’t be stepping on stage anymore,” Alien Skin said in an emotional outburst.

The singer admitted that the industry has humbled him, confessing:

“I thought I was a mafia in this game, but clearly I’m not the mafia I thought I was. The higher I go, the tougher and more disrespectful things get. I didn’t come here for all this hustle and bustle. All I wanted was 8 million shillings to boost my business.”

This is not the first time Alien Skin has threatened to quit music. In 2022, he claimed he would stop performing in 2023, only to change his mind and continue dominating the charts. Fans are now debating whether this latest declaration marks the end—or just another dramatic moment from the self-styled street king.

Meanwhile, Alien Skin is still in the spotlight over allegations linking him and his crew to the assault of TikTok star Uganda Top Dancer, who later died. The Sitya Danger hitmaker has denied any involvement, insisting he is being unfairly targeted.

Despite the controversies, Alien Skin remains one of the most talked-about Ugandan artists today. His raw style, street charisma, and constant clashes keep him trending, but his emotional vow has left fans wondering: Is this really the end of Alien Skin’s music career, or will the Fangone Forest boss rise again to reclaim his crown?

Only time will tell.
