Kampala socialite Don Nasser, real name Nasser Nduhukire, has been remanded to Luzira Prison after appearing in court on charges of aggravated trafficking in children and defilement of a 16-year-old girl. Nasser, who was arrested in Kenya and extradited to Uganda in September 2024, has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
According to prosecution, the socialite allegedly used his public influence and wealth to lure underage girls into environments involving sexual exploitation, drug abuse, and pornographic activities. The victim—whose identity is withheld because she is a minor—was reportedly taken from Tagore Apartments in Kamwokya and held captive for three days in Kito-Kira division, where the alleged crimes occurred.
