Ugandan singer Lydia Jazmine has finally shared the name of her old celebrity crush — and no, it’s not Eddy Kenzo!
During a live video chat with singer Bruno K, Lydia was asked to mention a male artist she used to have a crush on. At first, she was shy and didn’t want to say anyone’s name. But after some teasing, she opened up and said it was Gift Ov Kaddo.
“In my high school days, when I was still singing backup for Radio and Weasel, I had a crush on Gift Ov Kaddo — the one from ‘Traffic Man Officer’. That’s the one I liked. But not anymore,” Lydia said while smiling.
Before mentioning Kaddo, she also said that many girls, including herself, found Navio and Maurice Kirya handsome back in the day.
After she shared her secret, fans in the comments quickly brought up Eddy Kenzo, but Lydia was clear with her answer:
“Guys, Eddy Kenzo was the first male artist I met, and he knew me before I became a singer. But we are just friends. He is married, so please stop putting him in relationship stories,” she said.
So, Lydia Jazmine’s real crush was Gift Ov Kaddo — but only back in school!
