The legendary Nyege Nyege Festival is marking its 10th anniversary in grand style under the fiery theme “Ekigunda Ky’omuliro” (Burning of the Flame). The four-day celebration will run from November 20–23, 2025, at the festival’s stunning new venue — Adrift Overland Camp & River Club, Kalagala Falls, Kangulumira.
This milestone edition promises an unforgettable experience, bringing together over 200 acts across six immersive stages, blending ancestral rhythms, electronic innovation, and contemporary African sounds.
Global Meets Local: Skrillex, Fik Fameica Lead the Lineup
Headlining the 2025 festival is none other than global electronic music superstar Skrillex, making his debut in East Africa. Joining him is Uganda’s very own Fik Fameica, whose high-energy stage presence is sure to ignite the crowd.
Other top Ugandan performers include Abeeka Band, known for their fusion of traditional East African rhythms with modern instrumentation, and crowd-favourite Suuna Ben, returning after a standout performance at last year’s edition. Lynda Ddane, DJ Tony, and DJ Rocky will also command the decks, adding a dynamic mix of Afro-house, amapiano, and electronic vibes.
A Decade of Music, Culture, and Connection
Over the past decade, Nyege Nyege has evolved into a global symbol of creativity, inclusivity, and cultural exchange. The 2025 celebration will not only highlight musical diversity but also showcase art installations, culinary experiences, and wellness spaces — reaffirming Nyege Nyege’s status as East Africa’s premier music and arts festival.
As the Nyege flame burns brighter than ever, festival-goers can expect a journey through sound, culture, and community — all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the River Nile at Kalagala Falls.
