Spice Diana Breaks Silence on Why She Missed Sheebah’s “Return of the Queen” Concert

Ugandan pop star Spice Diana has finally opened up about her noticeable absence from Sheebah Karungi’s highly anticipated “The Return of the Queen” concert held on August 22nd, which pulled in massive crowds and received rave reviews.

As social media buzzed with speculation and fans questioned if the no-show was due to ongoing tensions between the two female powerhouses, Spice Diana has come forward to clear the air.

“I had shows out of Kampala,” Spice Diana explained in an exclusive statement. “But I saw her show and it was good for her and her fans. People wouldn’t attend if they didn’t intend to enjoy.”

The “Siri Regular” singer emphasized that her absence had nothing to do with beef or personal differences with Sheebah Karungi.

“If someone is meant to shine, they’ll still shine,” she said. “She [Sheebah] might be right about what she said because we’ve seen it happen — you separate from a manager, and they start fighting you. Even fellow artists can fight you. But even without a fallout, someone else can still choose to fight you.”

This response comes shortly after Sheebah made headlines during her pre-concert press conference, accusing certain artists of sabotaging others through the media.

Spice Diana seemed to echo Sheebah’s sentiments, calling out the dark side of the industry where jealousy and silent rivalries often undermine artists’ success.

With both artists speaking out, fans are now debating whether this could mark the beginning of a reconciliation between Uganda’s top female artists or just another round in a long-standing silent rivalry.

Regardless, Spice Diana’s response is already trending, with fans praising her maturity and professionalism.
