TV personality-turned-politician Tuff B has officially conceded defeat in the Makindye Division East parliamentary race following his loss to National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate Ali Kasirye Nganda Mulyanyama.
In a statement to supporters, Tuff B expressed gratitude for the trust and votes he received, describing them as a “powerful expression of hope for a better and more united Uganda.”
“Though the results may not have been in our favor, your voices have been heard, even in the face of challenges and setbacks,” he said.
Tuff B paid particular tribute to the youth of Makindye East, lauding their energy, passion, and determination to shape a brighter future. He pledged to continue supporting them beyond the election period, emphasizing that their dreams remain a key source of inspiration.

Reflecting on his campaign, Tuff B said his manifesto was more than a list of promises, framing it as a long-term blueprint for change. He acknowledged that meaningful transformation takes time but stressed that collective effort could build a constituency—and nation—Ugandans can be proud of.
Despite congratulating Ali Kasirye Nganda Mulyanyama on his victory, Tuff B maintained a firm political stance, underscoring that the wider struggle for justice, truth, and “rightful presidential election results” is ongoing. He urged supporters to remain strong and united in demanding accountability.
Tuff B, who contested as an independent candidate after failing to secure the NUP flag during party vetting, expressed optimism about the relationships formed during the campaign, noting that the bonds of solidarity and friendship would endure beyond the elections.
He concluded his message with a call to faith and country:
“For God and for our country.”
