The Uganda Police have launched a manhunt for controversial musician **Alien Skin** and several members of his **Fungon gang** in connection with the alleged murder of a former associate, **Namuwaya Wilfred**.
According to preliminary police reports, the incident occurred on **Saturday** in **Kizungu Ndebba village**, where Alien Skin is accused of orchestrating a brutal assault on Namuwaya — a former member of the Fungon Forest group — reportedly over internal disagreements.
Speaking to the media, **Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson SSP Patrick Onyango** stated that Alien Skin directed his bodyguard, identified as **Musumali**, to retrieve Namuwaya from his residence and bring him to a basement linked to the gang's operations.
> “Musumali picked up the victim from his home like a grasshopper and took him to the Fungon basement as instructed,” said SSP Onyango.
Once at the basement, Alien Skin allegedly confronted Namuwaya over his departure from the group, questioning who had authorized him to leave the Fungon base without permission.
> “Can you discipline him now so that it serves as a lesson to others who might want to leave without my consent?” Alien Skin reportedly ordered.
Following this command, gang members allegedly beat Namuwaya severely. He was later dumped near his home in Ndebba in critical condition. Concerned residents rushed him to **Mulago National Referral Hospital**, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
Police are actively pursuing Alien Skin and other suspects involved, urging anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward.
> “This is a serious criminal case, and all those involved will face the full force of the law,” added SSP Onyango.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with the public demanding swift justice.
