Musician Weasel Manizo, real name Douglas Mayanja, has been admitted to Nsambya Hospital after reportedly sustaining injuries in a disturbing incident involving his partner and baby mama, Sandra Teta.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning at Shan’s Bar and Restaurant in Munyonyo, where Weasel was socializing with friends including his manager Abba and fellow singer Viper Ray
According to eyewitnesses, the couple allegedly got into a disagreement that escalated into violence. Sandra Teta, who was driving a white Mercedes-Benz, is said to have intentionally knocked down Weasel, leaving him injured.
CCTV footage, which has since gone viral on social media, shows Weasel angrily kicking the door of a nearby car before being hit by the vehicle driven by Teta.
He is currently receiving medical attention and is expected to undergo surgery, according to close sources at Nsambya Hospital.
In a swift response by authorities, Sandra Teta was arrested and is currently being held at Kabalagala Police Station as investigations into the matter continue though close sources indicate that Sandra Teta is out of custody
