Zahara Marah Luyirika Kneels Before Barbie Kyagulanyi in Magere to Deny Bobi Wine Love Affair Rumors

Kampala Woman MP aspirant Hon. Zahara Marah Luyirika has made headlines after reportedly kneeling before Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi in Magere to clear the air on viral rumors linking her romantically to Bobi Wine, the National Unity Platform (NUP) president.

According to reliable reports first published by Ritah Kaggwa Blog, Zahara, accompanied by her mother and family members, visited Bobi Wine’s home last week in an emotional attempt to defend herself. Insiders reveal that she went down on her knees and begged Barbie to understand that the circulating love affair rumors were nothing but political propaganda from rivals trying to derail her Kampala Woman MP bid.

"My dream is to serve the people of Kampala as Woman MP. I am not being pushed by Bobi Wine, as my haters claim. These lies are spread by rivals who fear my progress," Zahara reportedly confessed.

Before the meeting, sources say Barbie had been extremely bitter towards Zahara, believing the rumors to be true. But during the face-to-face encounter, Barbie reportedly listened carefully, nodding in disbelief, shocked to learn that what she had long assumed was the truth was in fact political blackmail.

The feud between the two women had severely affected Zahara’s political chances. Her chances of securing the NUP party flag for the Kampala Woman MP seat were allegedly as low as 2%, with Barbie earlier preferring Hon. Shamim Malende.

However, after this harmonization meeting in Magere, reports suggest that Malende’s camp has been thrown into panic. Sources within the party allege that Malende herself has fallen out with senior NUP officials after accusations that she allegedly pocketed government funds—claims she has always denied, much like Hon. Mathias Mpuuga.

Analysts believe Zahara’s bold decision to kneel before Barbie may have restored her image and repositioned her in the ongoing Kampala Woman MP race. The reconciliation could potentially shift the balance of power within NUP, leaving Malende on shaky political ground.

With this dramatic turn of events, Zahara Marah Luyirika’s name is once again trending in Uganda’s political and entertainment circles, as the country watches to see how the Kampala Woman MP flag race unfolds.
