Tanzanian music icon Diamond Platnumz recently stirred controversy after publicly admitting he is unsure how many children he has fathered — and whether all of them are biologically his. His remarks sparked a storm of reactions on social media, with critics speculating about some of his ex-lovers, including Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan.
Zari, who shares two children — Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan — with the WCB Wasafi star, has now broken her silence, firmly dismissing any doubts about their paternity.
“He wasn’t speaking about my children,” Zari stated. “He has other kids, but people point at mine because they get all the attention. If they spoke about others, the traffic wouldn’t be the same. My children belong to Diamond. If it were otherwise, I would have taken them to their real father.”
The South Africa-based entrepreneur stressed that she has never questioned whether Diamond is the biological father of her children. “If I had any doubts, I wouldn’t let them travel without me because I would fear secret DNA tests,” she added.
Zari also used the opportunity to clear the air about long-standing rumors linking her late ex-husband Ivan Ssemwanga to her children with Diamond Platnumz. “If I leave, I leave for good. There is no going back to that chapter. Ssemwanga is not Tiffah or Nillan’s father,” she affirmed.
